As a condition of booking with us, you warrant the below:
It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to ensure their group are aware of all conditions and cancellation policies that apply to the bookings.
You will book with the knowledge and understanding of our terms and conditions.
You will only make legitimate bookings for yourself or for other persons whom you are legally authorized to act.
You will not make any fraudulent, false or speculative bookings.
All information supplied by you is true, accurate, current and complete.
You will book in accordance with the information outlined.
You are 16 years old or older if you are a Guest and 18 years old or older if you are a booking agent representative.
You have the legal authority to make a legally binding obligation.
Cancellations and Refunds
*All cancellations and refunds for tours must be made to us in writing via email and include your booking confirmation and send through to info@daintreerivercruises.com.au
Please note the following general refund exclusions which apply to all bookings across our different tour products:
Tour Time Amendments
Additionally, refunds will not be granted for preferred tour time amendments. For instance, if a customer initially books a tour and subsequently requests a time change within 24 hours, we regret that we cannot accommodate such changes and cannot issue refunds in these cases.
No-Show and Late Arrival Policy
Failure to be present at the specified tour departure point and time, located at 2856 Mossman Daintree Road, Lower Daintree, 4873, will result in your classification as a "No-Show."
Please be aware that we do not postpone departure times or halt vessel departures for individuals arriving late. In case of a late arrival, it is imperative that you promptly inform us so that we can consider rescheduling your booking for the next available departure time, subject to availability.
Bad Weather
We operate in all weather conditions including when it is raining, guests are encouraged to check the weather forecast on their day of experience and dress weather appropriate. In case of bad weather where we deem it unsafe to operate, we reserve the right to cancel tours and provide customers with a full refund or credit.
Unforeseen circumstances
If unforeseen circumstances arise which prevents us the operator from operating, customers will be provided a full refund or credit.
1-hour Daintree River Wildlife Cruises Cancellation Guidelines:
For all shared 1-hour Daintree River Wildlife Cruises, please be aware of our cancellation policies:
In case of a tour booking error, there is a one-hour grace period during which a refund is possible. Beyond this grace period, a 24-hour cancellation policy applies. If you have unintentionally made an error and need to cancel your tour while seeking a refund, please reach out to our team via email promptly.
Cancellation of a shared 1-hour Daintree River Wildlife Cruise booking must be made at least 24 hours in advance to be eligible for a refund. Cancellations made within this 24-hour window will not receive any refunds.
We want to emphasise that we cannot accept liability for any loss of tour costs resulting from customer assumptions or misunderstandings regarding our departure point. It is the responsibility of our customers to ensure they have appropriate transportation to reach our facility and verify our departure location before making tour reservations.
Private Charter bookings have a separate set of guidelines:
Private Charter bookings require a minimum of 48 hours' notice for cancellations to qualify for a refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled charter will not be eligible for a refund.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled cruise are non-refundable.
Booking amendments
Modifying your booking is possible via email. However, the feasibility of amending your booking depends on our current availability and may not always be guaranteed.
All booking amendments must be made to us in writing via email and include your booking confirmation and send through to info@daintreerivercruises.com.au
Check-In and Boarding Instructions
We kindly request that you complete the check-in process 30 minutes before your scheduled cruise departure at our reception, situated at 2856 Mossman Daintree Road, Lower Daintree, 4873.
The actual boarding procedure will start 5 minutes prior to the designated cruise departure time.
Please refrain from boarding the vessel earlier than this unless our staff provides specific instructions to do so.
Tour Add on’s
We provide add on’s for an extra cost, customers can choose add on’s with their tours such as beer, wine and other products that are listed in the online tour booking process. The cost of add on’s listed are presented next to the add on item. Once a add on has been selected the cost is incorporated into the total cost. Change of mind resulting in not wanting an add on that has already been purchased is not applicable for refund. In the event of change of mind resulting in no longer wanting an add on that has been purchased we are able to issue a credit to be used in store in our souvenir shop.
Transportation and Departure Locations
Bruce Belcher's Daintree River Cruises does not offer pick-up services, and guests are responsible for arranging their own transportation to our location.
All customers are required to independently make their way to our private facility at 2856 Mossman Daintree Road, Lower Daintree, 4873, QLD.
Variation of Tours
Please note that we retain the prerogative to cancel or modify any tour, and we assume no liability for any such cancellations or alterations. Customers traveling from a distance without prior bookings should be aware that they assume the risk of arriving for a tour that may have been cancelled or fully booked.
10. Souvenir Shop Refund Policy
If you purchase souvenirs or other retail merchandise from our gift shop, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. However, in the event of a fault with an item, we will either exchange, refund or replace the item in accordance with the requirements of the Australian Consumer Law. Please keep your proof of purchase (eg a receipt).
Code of Conduct
We maintain a strict policy against any form of aggressive, impolite, or discourteous behaviour, including arrogance or actions we deem unpleasant. We retain the prerogative to decline service to any guest and hold the authority to expel individuals or patrons from tours, without offering a refund of the tour fee, when such behaviour is observed.
Photography, Visual Content, and Consent
During the course of our tours, there may be instances where our Tour Guides capture photographs that may include you. These photographs may be considered for promotional use. When you participate in our tour, you acknowledge and consent to the possibility that we or our representatives may take photographs of you, and you grant permission for us to use such images of you for our advertising and promotional activities in any media of our choice. You provide us with a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, and irrevocable license to utilize these images for the purposes of publicity and promotion.
If you do not wish to be included in such photographs, kindly notify your guide at the commencement of your tour.
Child Policy and Infants
At Bruce Belcher's Daintree River Cruises, safety is our utmost priority. Children must always be under the supervision of an adult or guardian while on our premises and during the voyage. Infants, aged 0-3 years, can join for free, provided they do not occupy a designated seat. Please note that prams are not permitted on board our vessels. While parents are not obligated to bring life jackets for children or infants, they are welcome to do so if they prefer. Our vessels adhere to all AMSA (Australian Maritime Safety Authority) regulations and are equipped with the necessary safety gear as per their requirements.
Wildlife Policy
Wildlife Disclaimer - Bruce Belcher’s Daintree River Cruises is conducted in the wild & crocodile sightings CANNOT be guaranteed. However, we have been operating since 1987, and in the well over 40,000 tours conducted, our crocodile success rate has been 98% particularly in the cooler months (June to September). If you do not see a crocodile, we are happy to give you a complimentary return ticket.
Complimentary Return Vouchers
Please be aware that our complimentary return vouchers are non-transferable to individuals other than the original recipient and have no expiration date. To utilize your complimentary return voucher, you are required to present the voucher itself.
To redeem your voucher, simply follow the instructions provided on it.
It's important to note that these complimentary tickets cannot be exchanged for souvenirs or cash. When you decide to redeem your complimentary return voucher, please be prepared to furnish proof of identification along with the voucher on the day of your rebooked visit.
Bringing Animals to Our Facility
We exclusively permit service animals only on our premises. If you intend to bring a service animal, kindly notify us in advance before bringing it to our property.
